 Cpl George 'Jock' Moodie's ashes were scattered at No1 casemate of the Merville battery on 6 June 2012, after being jumped in from a C 47 Dakota by his grand daughter Isobel Roberts.

Standing next to Isobel Roberts (carrying the ashes) is Andy Moodie.
