The very fait blue pencil marks have been reproduced in this scan. Presumably, this marks the route taken by him prior and following Op Husky. Algiers, Bougie, Philipville, Bizerta. Then by glider to Syracuse Sicily overflying Malta en route. Then by sea from Bizerta(?) to Taranto and subsequent movement around Southern Italy.
