Joined 144 Parachute Field Ambulance in April 1982. Trained as Combat Medic Class 1. Para Course in October 1983. Transferred to 15 Para in 1985.

Transferred back to 144 in 1987. Served in Op Granby attached to 205 Gen Hosp. Still in144 as a SSGT when it becomes a Squadron of 23 PFA in 1995.

1999/2000 Still in 144 when it becomes a Para Sq of 16 Medical Regiment.

2003 Serve in the invasion of Iraq (Op Telic) with 16 Med Reg (attached to RAP 7 Para RHA). 2005 promoted WO2 at 144.

2007 Transfer to 205 Field Hospital as SSM.

2010 Op Herrick with the Field Hosp at Bastion.

2013 Commission as Captain at 205 Fd Hosp. QM Tech and MTO.

2019 Promoted Major and continue as OC Support Squadron.

2023 205 merges with 225 to become 215 Multirole Medical Regiment. Take post as OC Support Squadron in Glasgow.

Will retire in April 2025 after 43 years service. Andrew was also awarded The Queen's Platinum Jubilee and the King's Coronation medal in addition to the medals listed above.
