Airborne Assault Museum
A KBE (Knight of the Order of the British Empire) is a decoration symbolising the second highest rank in The Most Excellent Order of the British Empire. This medal is awarded to service personnel in recognition of outstanding public service. Recipients are also invested with a knighthood, an honour allowing usage of the title 'Sir'.
