Terry Youell enlisted into the Parachute Regiment in 2005.
After completing P Company (Coy) at Infantry Training Centre (ITC) Catterick. Private Youell was posted to B Coy The 3rd Battalion The Parachute Regiment (3 PARA) in 2006.
Pte Youell then moved to Signals Platoon, D Coy, 3 PARA in 2007 and was promoted to Lance Corporal in 2012,Corporal (Cpl) in 2013 and Sgt in 2016
Cpl Youell has served on three operational tours of Afghanistan.
