W B Tromans was the son of William Benjamin and Gertrude Eugene Tromans, of Blackheath, Staffordshire.He successfully completed his parachute training on 11 May 1945. Private Tromans was then posted to 8th (Midland) Parachute Battalion and served in Palestine and Cyprus.
He was killed on the 24 October 1947 and is now buried in Nicosia War Cemetery, Cyprus.
