The Parachute Regiment Insight Courses for potential recruits.

The Parachute Regiment run Insight Courses for potential recruits which are designed to give the potential soldier a look at how the regiment operates. The course is run by The Parachute Regiment Recruitment Team, who aim to give an 'insight' into the training, responsibilities and opportunities of a paratrooper. It is now a mandatory requirement for all applicants wishing to join the regiment.The Course provides a useful introduction to life in The Parachute Regiment.

Insight Courses are based at ITC Catterick and potential recruits stay in an accommodation block. From Tuesday mid-day through to late Thursday morning participants take part in a range of physical activities, training tasks and talks.

During the Course there are opportunities to ask questions and to find out more about the recruiting process and The Parachute Regiment. At the end of the Course each participant has an interview during which they are given feedback on their performance and guidance on what is needed to progress through the recruitment process.

There is no cost to you to participate on this course, all food, accommodation and travel is covered. All you need is a good attitude, physical robustness and self-motivation.
