Soldiers from 3rd Battalion The Parachute Regiment head out on a normal routine patrol in the area of the Showal bazaar today (26 Mar 11) in Afghanistan. The men from A Company are now able to step outside their patrol base and chat to the locals in an area that has seen significant change over the past six months. Through strong tactics and persistence the boys from 3 Para have restored a sense of security within the local area and have improved relations with the Afghan National Army (ANA), with whom they regularly patrol.
