Airborne Assault MuseumCaptain Rangaraj was the first Indian to complete a parachute jump, together with Mathura Singh.
Rangaraj had been 152 Bn's medical officer, but by this point it had been split into the 1st Battalion Indian Parachute Regiment and 4th Battalion Indian Parachute Regiment.
