Back to Warrant Officer Class 2 James Warcup Photographs

The smock was damaged on the Rhine Crossing after James Warcup was wounded. However he kept the smock and it was repaired postwar and then worn for gardening. It is made from numerous pieces of fabric with varying camouflage patterns. Of note is the padding in the shoulders to protect against heavy webbing, the stitching for which can be seen on the rear of the smock.
