Roy Taylor, ex 2 PARA, looks on shortly after we vented the flat to clear the smoke from a fire late on a Saturday night. Normally casualties are removed from the fire site when they are discovered, but the alarm was raised too late for this poor soul, and the scene was preserved to allow the Police to confirm that there were no suspicious circumstances.
