Candidates usually arrive by train and are collected by minibus at Darlington Train Station.

Once at The Infantry Training Centre Catterick (ITC Catterick) candidates are given a guided tour and shown their accommodation.

After being briefed on what to expect over the coming days, they are left to settle in.
