Airborne Assault MuseumThe funeral was attended by members of Maj Timothy's family, representatives of The Parachute Regimental Association (including Arnhem veterans John Waddy, Tony Hibbert and Dennis Crockett) as well as soldiers from C (Bruneval Company), 2 PARA.
The soldiers acted as pall bearers and also lined the route to the chapel. A member of the US Defence Attache's team, Lt Col Talbot, attended to represent US Airborne Forces, with whom Maj Timothy had been attached in World War II.
The service was led by The Revd Antony Feltham-White of 2 PARA and there were readings by Lt Max Shackleton 2 PARA, Jon Baker from the Airborne Assault Museum and Maj Timothy's friend, and ParaData Editor, Harvey Grenville.
