1st Pattern Denison, H & B Hoffman & Sons Ltd. 1942

Tug Wilson notes:  This smock is dated 1942, both epaulettes have been removed completely but the machine holes are still visible. The crotch flap has also been removed and also a replacement 'Newey' zipper installed. The zippers often broke in the sandy environments of the North African and Italian theatres.

There are a couple of professional repairs to the front and back of the smock almost unnoticeable from the outside. The cuffs are original to the smock and of tight weave woollen construction. Although there are many modifications and repairs to this smock its colours and feel make it a really interesting piece.
