3 PARA have created a memorial garden at Colchester in a quiet area near to the Cpl's Mess in remembrance of their fallen 3 PARA comrades.

This memorial garden consists of a bench area and a memorial square. The memorial square is headed with a recoilless rifle, memorial stone and cross topped cairn. Newly planted trees line the square and are dedicated with brass plaques to individual members of 3 PARA.

The memorial garden was created by 3 PARA's Sgt 'Smudge' Smith, Cpl Smart, L/Cpl Ellis and Pte Marshman in time for this year's (2012) Remembrance Sunday service.
