Paul Steven Sullivan was born in Northamptonshire in 1954, the son of Beryl and Ray Sullivan. Paul was a builder before joining up at the age of 19 years old.He became a member of 12 Platoon, D Company, 2 PARA, after completing P Coy and parachute training.
Cpl Sullivan married Bette Lampey and had a daughter Alesia, who was born in 1979 when Cpl Sullivan was away serving in the jungle in Brunei.
During the Falklands campaign Corporal Paul Sullivan was killed by small arms fire along with Lieutenant Barry whilst attempting to take an Argentine surrender.
He died on 28 May 1982 and is now buried at the Military Cemetery Aldershot.
