Colonel Mike Newman MBE hands over the gauntlet to Colonel Wilkinson OBE, who assumed the appointment of Deputy Commander Task Force Helmand in December 2012 for Op HERRICKs 17, 18 and 19.

Awarded the OBE in 2010 for his contribution to Op HERRICK planning whilst in PJHQ; Colonel Wilkinson holds a BSc and MSc from Cranfield University and an MA from King’s College, London.
