Steve Brown served with 4 PARA from Sept 1989 and then transferred to the Regulars in 1991. He then served with 47 AD SF flight, which is air despatch special forces flight based in RAF Lyneham (Chippenham), which is now closed and 47 AD has been disbanded since. 

Steve served in Op Banner (Northern Ireland) and Op Grapple (Bosnia), in Afghanistan/Iraq. Later he was a private military contractor for the FCO and British Embassies before moving to live and work in China for 3 years doing the same job (embassy circuit) after Afghan and Iraq.
