Harold Blagg enlisted into 10th Battalion The Royal Welch Fusiliers.When the battalion converted to an airborne role in August 1942 he undertook parachute training course 23 from 17 to 23 August 1942.

Cpl Blagg served with 6th (Royal Welch) Parachute Battalion until demob in March 1946.
