Private William Litchfield, son of John and Florence Litchfield, of Radford, Nottingham, served with 1st Parachute Battalion. He took part in the North African campaign, during Op Torch.
Private Litchfield died on 10 March 1943, aged 33 years old. He is now buried at Medjez-el-Bab War Cemetery, Tunisia.
