Private Stephen William Cupples, son of Thomas and May Cupples, of Liverpool, served with 1st Parachute Battalion. He took part in the Battle of Arnhem, during Op Market Garden.
Private Cupples died on 19 September 1944, aged 19 years old. He is now buried at Oosterbeek War Cemetery, Arnhem.
