Private Robert Charles Brant, son of Charles and Catherine Brant, of Hockley, Birmingham, served with 1st Parachute Battalion. He took part in the North African campaign.
Private Brant died on 5 February 1943, aged 21 years old. He is now commemorated on the Memorial at Medjez-el-Bab War Cemetery, Tunisia.
