Private Oliver Gordon was the son of John and Mary Gordon, and husband of Veronica Gordon, of Denaby Main, Yorkshire. He served with 1st Parachute Battalion and took part in the Battle of Arnhem.
Private Gordon died on 17 September 1944, aged 24 years old. He is now buried at Oosterbeek War Cemetery, Arnhem.
