Marcus Riley joined Junior Para, based at Browning Barracks in 1983, passing out January 1985 and posted to 3 Para with a tour of the USA Late 1986,
Posted to Depot Para as storeman on P Company Training detachment with tours of Germany (1986 & 1987), Gibraltar before culminating in a transfer to 1 Para in 1988 and a tour of N Ireland
Private Riley attained German Paratrooper wings in 1987.
