Sergeant Malcolm A Gwinn

Sergeant Malcolm Alan Gwinn, son of Alan Oswald and Gladys Amy Gwinn, of Northolt, Middlesex, served with 1st Wing, Glider Pilot Regiment. He took part in the glider insertion to the Battle of Arnhem, during Op Market Garden.

He died of wounds on 4 October 1944, aged 22 years old. He is now buried at Oosterbeek War Cemetery, Arnhem.

Leo Heaps mentions on page 59 of his book 'The Grey Goose of Arnhem' a Mac Gwynne, it is believed that this could actually be Malcolm Gwinn.
