Private James McKenzie was the son of James and Elisebeth McKenzie, and husband of Katherine M McKenzie, of Pewsey, Wiltshire. He served with 1st Parachute Battalion and took part in the Battle of Arnhem.
Private McKenzie died on 20 September 1944, aged 30 years old. He is now buried at Oosterbeek War Cemetery, Arnhem.
