Company Sergeant Major James Forster, of Sunderland, served with The 1st Battalion, The Parachute Regiment (1 PARA) and took part in the deployment to Cyprus during the EOKA campaign in 1956.
CSM Forster died on 10 June 1956, aged 34 years old. He is now buried at Waynes Keep Cemetery, Cyprus.
