Private Haydn Lloyd Bowen, son of David Charles and Mary Ann Bowen, of Ynysybwl, Glamorgan, served with 1st Parachute Battalion. He took part in the North African campaign.
Private Bowen died on 22 February 1943, aged 21 years old. He is now buried at Massicault War Cemetery, Tunisia.
