Staff Sergeant Harry V Brown

Staff Sergeant Harry Vickers Brown was the son of Harry Egerton Brown and Lily Brown, and the husband of Mary Winifred Brown, of Stoneycraft, Liverpool. He served with F Squadron 16 Flight, of 2nd Wing Glider Pilot Regiment. He took part in the Battle of Arnhem, during Op Market Garden.

Staff Sergeant Brown died during the Battle between 24-26 September 1944, aged 23 years old. He is now buried at Oosterbeek War Cemetery, Arnhem.
