Private Edward Coghlan, son of Richard and Elizabeth Coghlan, of Liverpool, served with 1st Parachute Battalion. He took part in the Battle of Arnhem, during Op Market Garden.
He died on 18 September 1944, aged 24 years old. He is now buried at Oosterbeek War Cemetery, Arnhem.
