Private Alexander McBride, son of John and Jessie McBride, of Springburn, Glasgow.
Pte McBride served with the 1st Battalion, The Parachute Regiment in Palestine.
He was killed on 23 May 1946 and is now buried at Ramleh War Cemetery, Israel.
