David Thomas Baillie enlisted into 562 Parachute Squadron Royal Corps of Transport (V) in 1977 and served until its disbandment in 1978.
Driver 'Bill' Baillie was posted to 562 Squadron RCT (Volunteers) until he transferred to 144 Parachute Field Ambulance, Royal Army Medical Corps (V) in 1979.
He undertook his parachute jump course in March 1980.
Sergeant Baillie served with 144 PFA (V) until 1988.
