Alfred Joseph Kinseley served in the East Surrey Regiment, before volunteering for the airborne forces.
Private Kinseley attended parachute course 36 at RAF Ringway from 6 to 12 November 1942. He then was posted to the 1st Battalion, the Parachute Regiment and took part in Operation Torch in North Africa.
Pte Kinseley was Killed in Action on 3 February 1943, aged 20. He is commemorated on the Medjez-El-Bab memorial.
