Private Neil Johnston, son of Angus and Mary M Johnston, of Lochboisdale, South Uist, served with 1st Parachute Battalion. He took part in the North African campaign.
Private Johnston died on 11 March 1943, aged 22 years old. He is now buried at Tabarka Ras Rajel War Cemetery, Tunisia.
