Private George J Hearnden

Private George James Hearnden, son of Jeremiah William and Maude Emma Hearnden, of Gravesend, Kent, served with 1st Parachute Battalion. He took part in the North African campaign, during Op Torch.

Private Hearnden died on 30 March 1943, aged 24 years old. He is now buried at Tabarka Ras Rajel War Cemetery, Tunisia.
