Private James Joseph Deere served with A Company 1 PARA. He was parachute jump trained on Course 542. This regular basic course ran between 2 October and 8 November 1961.
He died aged 20, of Malaria on 1 February 1963 and is buried in Hafoon Cemetery. Ma-Allah, Aden. Grave 249 Section 1.
