Joined Royal Regiment Artillery 1937.
Qualified as a parachutist 23rd Dec 1940.
Served with 11 SAS.
Then became part of 1st Battalion Parachute Regiment member of T Company.
Served in Tunisia on Operation Torch 1942.
Badly wounded 24th November 1942.
Discharged 5th November 1943 due to injuries.
