Group photograph of 15th (British) Parachute Battalion, India, 1945

Am confused over the date as 1944. Your site states the 15th was formed in 1945 with training commencing at Chakala from March 1945. Having just found my late father on the group photo of 6th Independent, I now see him central in row 2 in the above photo. He was posted to the 15th in July 1945.
