Born 26 September 1911, Lance Bombardier Douglas Williams was a member of B Troop, 64 Battery, 165 Field Regiment, 231 Infantry Brigade Royal Artillery until the transfer 2^nd Airlanding Light Regiment RA. He served in Greece in 1944, having previously served in North Africa, Sicily and Italy

Service History: 01/08/1944 – 28/12/1945: Lance Bombardier, 64^th Airlanding Battery RA. The 64^th Airlanding Battery RA were in Greece from 17 October 1944 to 6 February 1945.
