The Parachute Regiment and Airborne Forces have always recruited from within the Army to undertake the demanding roles of Parachuting and Airborne operations. Direct Recruitment to the Parachute Regiment accentuated the need for eye-catching visuals to encourage new recruits to join Airborne Forces.
