The Cross of Grand Officer with Swords is a merit award granted by the Sovereign Military Order of Malta (SMOM) or Knights of Malta.

Founded in 1048, the SMOM is a Roman Catholic lay religious order which provides humanitarian services to people in need through an international network of members, volunteers and medical personnel.
