Croix de Guerre 1939-45

The Croix de Guerre is a French award for acts of gallantry by a member of the French military or its allies.

There are six clasps associated with the award denoting order of merit. In ascending order of merit these are: bronze star, silver star, silver-gilt star,bronze palm, silver palm, and silver-gilt palm.
