Sgt Paxton served then with 253 Provost Company RMP (Volunteers) until leaving in April 1982.
In September 1985 Cpl Paxton re-enlisted into 5 Company, 10th Battalion, The Parachute Regiment (V) based at Chelsea, and served until November 1989 having served for 13 years.
