John Harry Wasdell was the son of Harry and Elsie Wasdell and the husband of Agnes Clark Wasdell, of Belfast, Northern Ireland.After volunteering for airborne forces, Private Wasdell served with the Oxford and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry, 2 (Airborne) Battalion.
Pte Wasdell took part in Operation Varsity.
He was killed on the 6 April 1945 and is now buried in Hanover War Cemetery, Germany.
