Andrew Connelly joined 40 Regt RA in 1985.  He completed P Coy in 1989 and gained wings in May 1990.

Andrew joined 7 RHA and served in P Troop, HQ Bty then transferred to Para Provost, 5 Bde Provost Unit in 1993.  

Served in the RMP Close Protection Unit.

Served in most major operations until 2008 when he retired.

Awarded QCVS in 1998 for meritorious service in Bosnia, ACSM, LS and GC and numerous operational medals.
