Peter Reynolds enlisted into The Parachute Regiment in 1998.He passed P Company (Coy) with 634 (Athens) Platoon on 20 November 1998 and was posted to 12 Platoon, D Coy, the 2nd Battalion, The Parachute Regiment (2 PARA).

During his military career Lance Corporal Reynolds served with D Coy, Support Coy and Headquarters Copy.

He went on overseas exercises to Canada, Belize and Kenya.

L/Cpl Reynolds served on two tours of Operation Banner (Northern Ireland), Operation Palliser (Sierra Leone), two tours of Operation Telic (Iraq) and two tours of Afghanistan (Herrick VIII and XIII).

After a motorcycle crash post Herrick XIII in 2011, L/Cpl Reynolds was medically discharged in 2013.
