Alwyn Patrick was the son of Frank and Ada Patrick, of Bracebridge Heath, Lincolnshire.After volunteering for airborne forces, Gunner Patrick served with 3rd Airlanding Anti-Tank Battery, Royal Artillery.

He was killed on 17 April 1945 and is now buried in Hanover War Cemetery, Germany.
