Unfortunately not a lot of information has been found about the service of Pte R Dalton. It is not known when he joined the airborne forces or which course he was trained on at RAF Ringway. 

However records do show he served with The RAMC and 1st Parachute Bn, T Coy, 11 Pln. Pte R Dalton saw service in operations in N. Africa.
