Joseph Lupton, son of Thomas and Catherine Lupton, of Little Crosby, Liverpool. Enlisted into Royal Corps of Signals before volunteering for airborne forces in India.Signalman Lupton died on 19 April 1946, aged 21, while attached to 44th Indian Airborne Division and is buried in Karachi War Cemetery, Pakistan.
