Michael Thomas Rodgers was a member of the Coldstream Guards and the 1st (Guards) Independent Company. 

He enlisted into the Coldstream Guards in 1964 and did an Operational Active service tour in Aden. In 1966, he joined the 1st Independent Company after completing the GPC and Pegasus Company hardening courses, joining no.1 troop. He had a son named Peter and was a member of the Guards Parachute Association (no. 565).

He died on Sunday 4 June 2023.
